Today we saw the retirement of Steve Bishop who, to the actual day of starting with the company 30 years ago, has decided to hang up his “Grinding Wheels” and enjoy a more peaceful life.
Steve has been a much-respected asset to the company and his precision grinding and mechanical engineering skills are absolutely World Class.
Steve’s innovative approach to problem solving always involved going back to basics and using the skills he learned as an apprentice engineer having followed the superb EITB route.
In later life, Steve has thankfully passed many of these skills on to other apprentices over the years.
We are sorry to see Steve go but hope he will keep in contact and undertake some project work once he has enjoyed a well-earned rest!
